Update: Laurel added another dimension of interpretation to her Soul Essence Portrait

"As I have continued music-infused meditations on the beautiful soul portrait you created, I find it opens doors of memory, self understanding, and possibility.  It's empowering. 
Some of my impressions over the days:

I confess that when I first laid eyes on it, I thought you must have sent me someone else's portrait by mistake!  My immediate internal response was "That is too beautiful and infused with flowing light, color and Spirit, to represent my essence."  For a few moments, I could not let it in.  But I made a decision to allow for the possibility.  Not to force it, but to be open to what meditating on the portrait might bring. Much more quickly than I had thought possible, that very evening, I was able to find me in the portrait... or the portrait in me. You helped me see a deeper essence that I ordinarily cannot see.  It began to fit, and to make sense of some things. 

Over the days, memories have arisen of formative life events and spaces during my young adult years. Images of recurrent, past and present moments of flow have emerged. The portrait reveals the centrality of the natural world in shaping me over the years.  When I feel healthier, I seem to experience a flow, as of water or air or light, and the portrait depicts this beautifully.  In a way I would not have dared to envision.  Sometimes the flow's sources are earthbound, and other times there's a sense of flow or resonance with a less tangible origin.

 The portrait invites me to remember ways I can flow, glide, emit color, journey with others, find synchrony. 

Thanks for helping me dare to see myself, and to be, with greater joy and clarity.
